Hey Guys, Gos here

As ive just hit level 30 and before I start doing ranked I want to be able to play all lanes and possibilities ( to make it easier for my teams in ranked and to be less of a troll and be just generally a better guy rather than all the nasty horrible people you see in tribunal cases etc )

I want you guys to give me good top lane champions:

I was thinking, Jarvan Nasus Mordekaiser Akali Irelia Wukong Shen Riven and should those be enough for me to go into ranked ok?

My Mid lineup is: Viktor Annie Ryze Anivia Karthus Malzahar Lux Morgana
Junglers: Volibear Yi Nunu Amumu Nautilus Shaco Evelynn (They see me trollin') and Trundle
Bot Lane AD: Ezreal Corki Ashe Sivir Tristana Ashe (Getting Vayne/Twitch soon)
Supports: Sona Soraka Leona Alistair Taric Janna Lux

And After I have got good with my top lane champions should this be enough for me to play ranked?

EDIT:
Jarvan Irelia Wukong Shen Riven # Top Lane

Ryze Anivia Karthus Malzahar Lux Morgana Fizz (Will possibly get Galio / Cassio) # Mid Lane(My favourites are Support / AP )

Junglers:Amumu Nautilus Shaco Shyvana

Ezreal(Ezreal is hot! ) Corki Sivir Graves Urgot Vayne # Bot Lane ADs

Sona Soraka Leona Alistair Taric Janna # (My 2nd Favourite Role)

I was hoping you'd be a bit more constructive rather than a moron but i'll have to explain, Im going to get a list of champions I can play from a mediocre-vgood level so I can play in ranked more easily and to make it better for the team >.<

A good riven can almost handle any laneup and is hard to gank, keep her for sure, shen is banned all the time but very good, and morde is solid aswell do this:

Top morde, riven. Akali and wu ONLY to counterpick, akali doest bring much to the team if she isnt fed.

Get annie off your mid lineup, shes not that strong anymore and has low range, victor is extremly hard to play well and you will see teammates not understanding what your doing so would let go of him aswell
Jungle nunu: rather not you will get shyvs and lees raping you by counterjungle, yi will be ****ed if not fed get him off
Lux is no real support just play her mid shes awsone there
Dont buy twitch for playing ad carry

And your good to go to goldelo

Thats quite a lot champs. And you can play them all good ?!

Currently decent/strong top lanners are: Cho, GP, Jax ,Kennen against melee champs OP as fk , lee sin is OP , ad nidalee very strong , Olaf is very strong , Pantheon a direct counter to GP , Renekton really strong early-mid, falls off late game , but it helps ya win the lane which is what matters most , Riven is good ,Shen OP , Singed ,teemo after next patch buff gonna be nightmare too all melee (same as kennen) , tryndamere , trundle ,Udyr , Vlad , WW is OP , wukong , Volibear situational , Yorick omfg this champ is fking annoying to lane against top.

About your list, Akali is veeeeeeeeery situational , better pick her for mid not top , Nasus only against passive laners , never pick nasus as first pick , coz enemy will counter him with some agressive champ or Kennen and u will get zone and it will GG coz nasus needs farm his Q.
Irelia got nerfed a bit too much..she is not bad...but...it will be harder to win top against Olaf , shen or any other with decent sustain.
Mordekaiser...pick him for mid lane...

Just get shyvana. She is good jungler as well as solo top. It is hard few levels if you dont have sustain(hard to trade in top with yorick etc.) but get wriggles and you are Legendary

Shyvana jungle requires an very unique playing style that fits best in premades, soloq I would not suggest her unless you want to counterjungle a fiddle or something,
Yes nasus is very situational aswell, I tend to use him vs ww, and used to pick him firstpick for top at 800-1100 elo, since your starting elo is 1200, I would not advise him.

You could add a kennen/warwick for mid/top, 2 very strong picks in my opinion and both not that easy to counter

I'm not really going to focus on other lanes than the top, partly because I don't play much else, and partly because there's something pretty wrong with your jungle line up. I carried myself into 1540 elo by playing almost only top and jungle, and roughly 7 different champions. The list of my champions was Lee Sin [jungle and top (before the pros made it popular again :P)], Maokai (jungle), Alistar (the only support champion I can play reliably, just because sometimes I am last pick), Renekton (top), Pre-Nerf Irelia (top), Warwick (top) and Pre-nerf Akali (mid and top).

The reason I played those champions is because I like playing them AND because they all are fairly good at what they do. I haven't played Irelia or Akali in a long time, mostly because they're not as strong anymore. When Akali became FotM everyone banned her because they didn't know how to deal with her. Eventually people in even 1300 elo or so learned to counterpick her and it was only after this that Riot nerfed him. If I was to play Akali, Lee Sin would have to be banned and I'd be pretty screwed if they picked something like Brand or Garen or Alistar against me.

Now, your list of champions. If you were to play this game for fun only, it wouldn't matter if you wanted to play champions that might have clear counters or champions that are outdone by other champions. You can actually get high elo while playing champions people think aren't that strong, one French high elo guy used to play a LOT of Nasus and he didn't do that bad with it.

If you enjoy playing your champions and are certain you are good enough with them to carry games, there's nothing to change. Since you asked about good top lane champions, I'm going to tell what exactly in my opinion is good at the moment.

Out of your list Riven and Shen are the best ones. Mostly because they don't have that many counters. It's a good idea to play champions that are hard to counter, because when playing against a champion that counters yours, it doesn't matter if you're better, they might be able to win even if they played worse. Irelia was and still is popular because of this. You can pick her in any comp and against almost anything and you will still be a threat late game. Almost immune to cc in team fights is one reason for that. This is also the reason Riot has kerfed her a lot. Her kit in general offers way too much. Same thing with Jarvan and I have to admit, Lee Sin too. The champions aren't necessarily op because of this, it's just that they aren't that fun to play against.

At the moment the champions I'd say are really good for top lane are Kennen, Shen, Riven, Rumble, Yorick, Vladimir, Warwick (tbh I don't think he's that strong because I've played enough WW to find out about this weaknesses), Lee Sin, Olaf, Udyr and Gangplank.

These obviously aren't the only strong champions, and they have their counters. But when compared to for example Jax who I've enjoyed playing in normals lately, picking a certain champion against Shen doesn't instawin the lane. This is pretty much the case for Jax when laning against for example Warwick. The Q spam is too strong for Jax, and the moment Jax is in his weakest is the moment when WW is pretty weak but still stronger than you. Unless you get a good jungle gank, you can't do much about it. When he hits roughly level 3-4 he will just poop on you. With Shen, even if Warwick does fairly well against Shen, it can go either way.

It's your own decision what to play, if you really want to do good in ranked you probaly should play more normals and really try-hard every single game, playing the positions you want to get better at, playing certain champions that you want to learn, and once you're good with those champions you should be able to do good with them in ranked.

Oh and by the way, about the guy above who claimed quite some champions are op. I personally wouldn't listen a person who claims a champion getting a bug fix will be much better than at the moment. Even from straight numbers you can't say for sure, but I'm pretty sureTeemowon't be that awesome even after the fix. He doesn't do much late game. It's only Udyr and some others that have trouble with Teemo, and Teemo has like 400 hp at level 1. Level gank will probably win the lane for you. And anyway working as a counter pick to some melee champions with no gapcloser isn't that great. Onhit Lulu is actually better at that imo. Haven't really seen it that much but I played with one once and he did pretty well in general.
