If you've been playing with Ozzies, they mean 'aggressive'.
In any other case, it means to have the attention of a mob or a player. If Nashor attacks you, you got aggro from him. It's much more frequently used in games like WoW, where the tank needs to have constant aggro of the mobs you're killing as a group to avoid the squishier team mates from being targeted and (easily) killed.

aggro = trigger a mob's IA so the mob targets you... for instance, "dammit I've aggro'ed the whole minion wave" means "dammit, this whole minion wave is mad at me and is targeting me".

all the above is true, but there is another meaning. (doesnt get used in this game though)

aggro can be used as a state of said mob.
an aggro mob being a mob that will attack on sight, while a passive mob will ignore you until you engage.
"lets sneak past the aggro's"

For instance; pulling a camp in the jungle gives the puller aggro from the creep.

dunno why everyone is saying aggression...

aggro stands for aggravate or aggravation.

The sentence "aggro that dragon so that he attacks you" will make sense to many who have played games.

The sentence "aggravate that dragon so that he attacks you." still makes sense.

The sentence "aggression that dragon so that he attacks you" does NOT make sense.
