you can spam with just a ROA and blue buff so what is the point of AA?

lots of ap (80 +2% of mana, so if you're at 3k mana that would be 60 ap = 140 ap total) and even more mana for spamming. also it's not always possible to have bluebuff (own bluebuff holds for 3 min iirc, respawn time is 5 min => no constant bluebuff and it can be stolen by enemy team)

AA gives a lot of mana regen so its useful for casters that need a lot of mana and reliable regen, but dont have access to blue buff

AA gives giant boost to AP and it gives pretty nice mana regen. When you tear of the godess early everytime you cast a spells your max mana pool increases with 4 mana. On a lot of champions that is 5% of the cost of the spell. So yes it has a big impact on the mana user you are playing.

So if you spam a lot of spells all the time this is a must buy.

waste of gold on most champions ... only few mages needs that much mana (IMO)
