have you apply all patches to your wine installtion?
have you install the additional software via winetricks?

with the latest wine from git ,the patches in post 1 and a DLL this works 100% for me

1. download msvcp90.dll
http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-files.shtml?msvcp90

2. copy msvcp90.dll to your .wine/drive_c/windows/system32

3. get the latest wine from git
git clone git://source.winehq.org/git/wine.git
4. do everything else as in the original OP using wine-git

Hiya, my Wine and I are having some serious issues. I have built Wine-1.3.2 myself using the guide on Wine HQ (Link (http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?bShowAll=true&bIsQueue=false&bIsRejected=false&sClass=version&sTitle=&sReturnTo=&iId=19141));

Linux Mint 8 'Helena' generic-32-bit
uname -a
Linux Doos 2.6.31-14-generic #48-Ubuntu SMP Fri Oct 16 14:04:26 UTC 2009 i686 GNU/Linux
AMD Phenom II X4 955 'Deneb'
ATI Radeon HD5750

I downloaded the Wine source archive, extracted it and applied three patches. I have applied the ole-force-inproc-instead-of-local.patch (Link (http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=20296)), the steam-store-crypt2.patch (Link (http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=21870)) and the reg.c.patch (Link (http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=24017)).
./configure && make depend && make
sudo make install
I have used winetricks to install the latest Adobe AIR 2.03, Internet Explorer 6 (and applied patch MicrosoftFixit50191.msi (http://go.microsoft.com/?linkid=9657448)), vcrun2008 (as a workaround for the msvcp90.dll problem; Link (http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=24020)) and d3dx9, which all installed without problems.

I could start the downloader, which appeared to have some texture problems being completely white. However, I could download the game and install it without problems. Starting the launcher after that worked perfectly, just like logging in. The main game lobby splash screen and the store don't work, the rest however seems to be fine. I can queue for a game and get into champion select fine, but entering the game is impossible; the moment one goes from the game lobby to the actual game, the game crashes. The error message(s) I get are as follows;

I am getting a (Wine) Program Error stating: "The program League of Legends.exe has encountered a serious problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."
Whenever I click Close I will go back to the game lobby where I am greeted with the following error stating: "The game crashed. Please try to reconnect". This is an endless loop and after trying to reconnect several times there hasn't been any change.

I have set up my Wine to use Windows 2000 by default, I have added the three game's instances LoLClient.exe, LeagueofLegends.exe and lol.launcher.exe to use Windows 2000, any other Windows, or Windows 2 as stated in the Wine HQ guide. I have tried emulating a virtual desktop. Nothing seems to work and the game seems to crash. Sometimes on several Windows versions it doesn't give me the initial error about the serious problem, just the game lobby error.

I would like to ask you for your help. Right now, I don't know what to do. I have added a piece of my 'AIR' log located in League of Legends/Air/logs as an attachment displaying of what I think is the time of the crash.

Thank you in advance.
