Do you have any firewalls that may be blocking this trace? Either on your local computer, or on a router level? Do you have another computer in the household you could try to see if the same result occurs?

just started today for me.
I'm sitting on a wire from moscow.
60 ping on average.
But specially for today, it's 140-150. Why?!

First and foremost, thank you for your quick reply.
Regarding my tracert, it has always been the same since ages. Ever since i started playing in the NA server 3 years back and i've never faced a high ping problem since ive moved onto EUW. I've even created a dummy account in GARENA (SIngapore) to check my internet connection, and i'm getting a solid ~63ms ping. So i don't know what the problem could be.
Anyways, to answer your question, I have disabled all of my firewalls, including the router's, but i've been getting the same tracert results. I will speak to my ISP about this thouhg i doubt it'll help. I have a few friends with different service providers in India who are facing the same high ping problems. You should check out the League of Legends India page to know what i'm talking about. It's a RIOT out there.

Sometimes complete game restart helps, sometimes don't.
My ping on all other servers is under usual threshold.

Nothing strange, many ISPs in Russia may block ICMP traffic since their routers are set up by anykey monkeys which don't bother going beyond very basic settings. It doesn't affect game in any way, however.
You may want to use linux tracing utilities since they use UDP traffic or use MTR utility in UDP mode for this.

Anyway, I can assure you that this issue is unlikely caused by our hardware, software or internet connection.

Most probably this is problem on Riot's end, since it only affects EUW (for me, at least) and may be temporarily solved for one game by complete client restart (relogin and reconnect). Also it only happens after Rek'Sai patch.

Yeah, it's still unplayable for me and i've already started playing on Garena though i really don't want to. 3 years of effort and time down the drain. It's all up to RIOT now. If this is solved then good for all of us, else i dont see any other way out than quitting. Been a month of trouble shooting to resolve this

Yeah, literally the same. I don't play on EUW since December because of this. Can we have an answer/help after month, please?

Have the same problem with ping.
Atleast for 3 weeks or more.

I posted a topic here. I wrote a letter to support about week ago. Last activity with support was 4 days ago. Still waiting for any answer....
