I just formatted my PC and installed everything back. I installed every programs I need to run LOL:
- Java 8
- DirectX 11
- Visual C++ 2005/2008/2010/2013 x64
- Adoble flash player
and other programs.
I can log-in in the client but I can't play, i got this error: 'The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click OK to close the application.' after the champ select.
I re-installed the game 3 times, tried to run it as admin, tried CCleaner, I've installed AiO but I can't fix it. How to solve this problem?

I can upload the DxDiag so you guys maybe can help me.

Hi Lee Sin Carry,

first up, try installing DirectX9 - DX10 wasn't reverse compatible, although I don't think it's the cause of this particular error.

Did you install the client, or did you simply copy+paste an install that you had backed up previously?

Thanks!

I already tried with DirectX 9 and doesn't work. I installed everything (also the game) from the website, no backup files.

Can you try installing the 32-bit versions of the .NET Redists? I think the 2005 and 2008 ones are all LoL needs, but I'm thinking that if LoL is running as a 32-bit app, it requires the 32-bit versions:

Both installed and PC rebooted, no results. Those are my .net framework - Visual C++.
Am I missing something?

The only thing that sticks out is the fact that there's multiple of the same, but that should be enough to get you into the game definitely!

I haven't had a chance to play with this tool much, but you could try downloading and running SpyStudio: http://www.nektra.com/products/spystudio-api-monitor/download/

This tool is capable of monitoring file calls from a program and may show you what it's calling/missing. To run it:

- Install from the above link
- In the left hand side there's "Execute and Hook". Select the ... beside this, and try going to C:\Riot Games\League of Legends and select lol.launcher.exe
- Hit the play button under the ...

This should then launch LoL. Try going through to a custom game as normal until it crashes, then check the "Files" tab, and see if you can find any issues.

My assumption would be you might find something under the Files --> Folders C:\Windows\winsxs\ - but try having a look around to see.

Before starting the launcher, when I hit the play button on SpyStudio, there are many process of LoL marked with Red color in the trace tab. After trying to join in a game, my game crashes, in the Files tab there are 2 files marked by red color. One it's called D3DCompiler_46.dll and it says DLL_NOT_FOUND, the other is GdiPlus.dll in C:\Windows\winsxs C:\Windows\winsxs\x86_microsoft.windows.gdiplus and it says ERROR. What should I do? Install it from internet?

You can download that from here: http://download.dll-files.com/5bf8e37fa1e25227480f9cd2aca21fb6/d3dcompiler_46.zip?0XDlXGVMeX

Extract this to C:\Windows\system32

that should've been included in the DX9 redist however...try again and see if you get another error after extracting this, or if you're good to go.

Don't worry about the trace log, there's tons of useless errors in there. Files is where I was interested in :-)

Thanks for the help, searching in the folder winsxs, i found another error. It's GdiPlus.dll in C:\Windows\winsxs\x86_microsoft.windows.gdiplus and it says ERROR. What should I do with that?
