With the average length of a game, what is the most IP Efficient average math wise.
5v5 or 3v3?

You play games to have fun. What map do you think is the most fun? IP shouldn't matter at all.

It does if your trying to farm IP, otherwise I wouldn't be asking would I?

I have fun on either map, obviously characters vary but can easily do either.
Wouldn't be playing the game otherwise.

I need more Rune Pages (and Runes) for all the Champions I enjoy.

...Who is downvoting all the comments in this thread? -.-

Also that doesn't answer my question, that doesn't take into account 3v3 are usually faster than 5v5's.
I guessed over all 5v5's were going to award more but, wondered if anyone had actually done the hard math.

However I did find "3v3 games are more efficient for gaining IP than are 5v5 games. This is because 3v3 games are always shorter than 5v5 games. (Note: The 22% penalty that there used to be for playing the 3v3 map no longer exists.)" so guess that kinda answers it.

you know even games on 3vs3 sometimes last up to an hour. That's why I play Ryze there. People don't know the 3vs3 metagame so they just, guess what,

And Ryze feeds on instalocked carries.

I'll post My usual build with Ryze on 3vs3:
Order of appearance:
Sapphire Crystal
Tear of the Goddess
Sorcerer's Shoes
Catalyst The Protector
Rod of Ages
Frozen Heart/Banshee's Veil (depends on enemy team's damage composition)
Archangel's Staff
Lich Bane
Rabadon's Deathcap

Runes: Arm Pen Marks, Mana Regen/lvl or Mana/lvl Seals, Mana/lvl Glyphs, and Mana/lvl Quintessences.

Masteries: 9-0-21 (standard caster, gets points in MAX MANA always, spells: Ghost/Ignite/Flash
