Hello guys and hi RiotBrokenSword.
So...as it is now we get matched against other player
by our MMR but we are still sitting in leagues no matter what
our MMR is. Thats not really what i want to talk about but there is
one thing i really would like to see in Season 4. As for now you cant
see anyones MMR. You cant even see your OWN mmr and that is whats
in my oppinion kinda dumb because no matter if you gain LP, you can
still lose MMR and seeing the MMR would also clarify oppenents you get
when they are much higher ( you will see that your mmr is near them probly ).
I want to see if and how much i improve or not improve when playing solo Q
and not just have League X and some **** shown that is inaccurate as ****.
So please let us see our own REAL elo in Season 4, i know there are mmr
calculaters such as op.gg/mmr but those are also very inacurate especially
when you duo Q. So please give us the option to be able to see our own REAL ELO
in season 4.

Can't you just look them up on Lolking or Lolnexus and see what tier/division they are in? And get an idea of how good they are, or what is the point of seeing someones MMR. Sorry I don't get it ._.

no as i said the leagues are very very inaccurate. Next time read
the post before you reply, i mainly said that i want to be able to see
my OWN mmr to see if and how much i improve. I dont care to much
about the MMR from other people.

Well wont you see that you improve by climbing the divisions and tiers? Climbing = higher mmr.

not really, if you have a higher elo, you get more lp as you lose.
Other way around with low elo, you gain less as you lose.
However, as i said its still very inaccurate an example is
i started in silver 1 and played in my 9. and 10. placement gamnes
already vs gold 1 etc. So...i hit up gold...jumped over gold 4 and gold 2
so my elo was a lot higher as my league where i staretd probly.
So silver 1 was kinda inaccurate i think. I for myself want to see
where exactly my skill is and since leagues are very inaccurate i want
to see my MMR. You know u can be any league with any elo....
I wouldnt care if leagues were used for the Matchmaker
but since that is not the case...

I don't think that you can see how much you improve by looking at your MMR, what if you got carried by your teammates a bunch of games? Your MMR gets higher yes, but are a better player because of that? No, because a lot of games your team carried you.

This I know, yes. But I still think that you can't determine someones skill by looking at their MMR.

Let's say that I am in Silver 3 and my MMR is 1700 or whatever.
My friend is in Diamond 2 and his MMR is 1200.

(EDIT : I dont know how MMR works lol ... Please correct me :>)

Does this mean that I am better than him?

I think the best way to see how you improve is actually to play the game. You get higher and higher CS in games, more than you used to get. You don't make the same stupid mistakes, etc etc...

Well you see where exactly you are and with what you get matched. And you can see
yourself if u can play well at that level or not, again i dont care for others
but myself. Yes in case he got elo boosted, no in case he trolled himself down
( dia 2 with 1200 mmr....harldy possible dia 5 is though ). But...when someone is
gold 5 with 1500 MMR and you are silver X with 1700 MMR yeah than you are better
cuz you did beat and play versus better oppenents. Of course it happens
that u sometimes have luck for some games, but bad luck also happens. But this all
doesnt matter because...its not for showing off to others...i want it for myself as
i said, and i will be able to see how i myself play at wich MMR.

why do we have league system if MMR decides matchmaking?
I dont understand that when im Bronze I I consistently have to play against silver III, causing me to lose promo's and games.

i would prefer the old system back but iam fine with the current one,
allthough i think u should than get matched by the league agaist
other people 1 league above / under you and not by MMR. MMR should just
decide LP Gain / LP Loss.
