I've been practising it a lot lately but still feel slow, when I move my finger to a it takes time to move it back to q.

Do pro players actually a+left click all game long, or do they bind a+left click to left click.

I'm having some issues getting used to it but I can see why it's better so I do want to learn it.

Edit: didn't even know you could shift+right click, thanks all.

ah, so I have a question on this now: If I were to bind a+lmb to just lmb, would I still be able to cast a spell by clicking without attack move to that location?

Is this so when someone is running away.
You shoot at them
Take a step forward
Shoot at them again

i.e Orb Walking in DoTA?

Yes I mean orb walking, I'm just not sure what way would be best to use, it's hard to get used to whatever method so I don't want to end up learning the 'wrong' one.

I had to get a different button to do the regular left-click, but since I smart-cast spells anyway it's not that big of a deal.

Maybe if you do the binding in LOL-config files? I just did it by swapping LMB and scroll-click on my mouse driver and then rebound the "player attack move"(default shift+RMB).

I'm pretty sure the vast majority uses Shift + right click...
