Hello new summoners, today I would like to introduce to you my new guide right here on how to start a LoL account and to maximize it's potential to the best.

Starting the game:
Once you start playing LoL the most common mistake people do is rush to buy runes for a bit of extra stats and waste some valuable IP, well the best thing people can do in LoL to start extremely well is to focus playing free champions while collecting money for champions that they seem to find easy for them.

Spending IP correctly:
As I said above, at first till you are Lv.10 you should keep on playing free champions to understand the meta game which is something that you should not jump straight into it, but at least try to understand something about each champ from playing the free week champs.
*Notice: New champs are for free selection 2 weeks after their release*
Once you go Lv.15 and you have enough IP buy champions that you feel comfortable to use.But still do not buy runes before Lv. 20 then buy only, yes only! S3. Runes, and do not spend your IP on different runes like :
I'll get 2x T3 Runes of Ability power on Marks, and then 2x more of armor and then 2x more of arm.pen and then 1 of ad and it will be strong.

That is another common mistake new players tend to do, so the best way to make a great runepage is to combine to outburst your stats.
x9 Marks of Magic Pen. + x9 Seals of Armor + x9 Glyphs of Scaling AP + x3 Quints of Movement speed
(This is mine in case of Anivia (http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wiki/Anivia) )

So thats the best possible way to do it, and try to get around 7-10 runepages and make.
1 for each role.
(Solotop-Bruiser or Assassin)
(AP Carry- Mage)
(Jungle-Similar to Solotop)
(AD carry - similar to Assassin)
(Support - Tanky or full of Utility)

Which Includes making one mastery page for each Role.
And the best possible thing, learn to play at least 3 champions for each Role.

Now the best possible Rune Pages that are widely used by many players nowadays and even from pro's for each role are:

Tier 3 only for each runepage.
I will show you 2 for each role.

ADC(Ad Carry) [Champions that deal Physical Damage mostly except Kog'Maw* and they are ranged]
x9 Marks of Damage x9 Seals of Armor x9 Glyps of Scaling M.Resist x3 Quints of Scaling AD.
x9 Marks of Attack Speed x9 Seals of Armor x9 Glyphs of Scaling M.Resist x3 Quints of Attack Damage.
*There are other AD that deal a lot of magic damage aswell.

APC (Ap Carry)[Mages, champions that deal Magic Damage mostly focusing to burst squishy targets fast]

x9 Marks of Magic Pen. x9 Seals of Mana Regen or x9 Mana per level or x9 Armor x9 Glyphs of scaling AP or x9 Glyphs of AP and x3 Quints of Magic Penetration/Movement Speed/ScalingAP/AP (Choose depending which attribute the champion misses a lot).

Solotop/Jungle (Assasins or Bruisers)

x9 Marks of Armor Penetration x9 Seals of Armor x9 Glyphs of Scaling Magic Resist x3 Quints of Attack damage

Now to go a little in-depth here You can take Attack Speed Quints if your champion relies on auto attacks and he has a low attack speed for the whole game.
Aditionally you can pick x9 Marks of Attack Damage if you plan on making strong assassin, or an AD caster.

Here I do not know at all that much but I was playing as a support during season 2.
My taric rune page is : x9 Marks of Armor x9 Seals of Armor x9 Glyphs of scaling Magic Resistance and x3 Quints of 1GP/10s (1Gold per 10sec) or Armor (yeah taric's W op)
or health or EXP runes.

But supports have a widely selection for Rune pages which makes them mysteriously nice, cause they have a lot of wideness that noone can see, and they are 70% The cause of each victory because they made an easier game for the AD carry they trouble the opponents a lot with their Heals or CC (Crowd Control (http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wiki/Crowd_control))

Supports rely mostly on mastery pages that they focus getting like:
9/0/21 or 0/9/21 or 0/21/9 or mixed like 0/15/15.

So Since we talked a little bit about roles let's talk for the basics that players need to know!
Click to play the youtube video!
Last Hitting (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MtUtjwAHoRw) - The most efficient way of getting lots of gold, and xp fast without pushing the lane, allowing you to freeze the lane so the jungler can gank easier (in case the enemy is pushing)

Ganks (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sL9nJuQ1VUk)- Notice how ganks are a way to help other lanes of your team to reach victory easier, to avoid ganks use Wards (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YwXpAYfuESY), and to avoid enemy wards that stop ganks from your team-mates use vision wards.

Orb Walking (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QpvMc3EZ2xk) - this comes from another moba game, but it is highly recomended for ad carries when they chase other champions that have low health or trying to flee from a battle.

Jungling (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LR-ohLg5x8E) - This is a role yes a role, but it is gradually important, maybe one of the most important roles. The video will explain everything about junglers.*Junglers must put wards, gank lanes and gather XP from the jungle.

LoL wiki stuff:

Base Stats (http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wiki/Base_champion_statistics) - (these are the stats champions have when they are Lv.1 and how they change per level)

Base stats on Lv.18 here (http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wiki/Champion_statistics_at_level_18)

General Stats (http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wiki/Champion_statistic) - this contains every stat that is included in the game League of Legends, yeah it includes a lot of math to calculate some certain stats.

This is what changes the whole time, the meta game is how champions escalate on a certain team, how items work with combinations in game and stuff like that.Something that won't bother you at the start of the game until you are Lv.15
The pros are those who define the metagame, mostly.
The best way is to check up for pro player ranked streams on http://twitch.tv

Guide sites - The best three known are

Rune section is not very relevant,

Important thing is never to buy tier 2 runes.
tier 1 runes are so cheap and help a lot so try to buy at least some flat AD runes for lasthitting and some armor and mr.

Then at level 20 buy 2 sets, not more they are hardly needed, one for ad and one for ap. Spend the rest on champs since they are way more fun.

At low levels feel free to buy a champ you like.

Make sure that whatever you buy, do it for fun.

ORB walking is a very different thing, doesnt work in league of legends
I would call it animation canceling, making sure your character isnt continuing to basic attack
in combination with kiting/juking, walking in random patterns to avoid getting hit by skillshots.

Also there is a lot of random information.
Expect a reader to have very little time to read your post. They would only want to read a small bit. Would you want them to learn the base stats of every champion?

write your stuff down in microsoft word and use spelling check

if you wanna make a rune guide, name it rune guide, otherwise dont use more then 1 alinea

Missing info,
-one of the most horrible mistakes of noobs are getting hit by minions
-try to last hit, and last hit only, focus on creeps more then anything, gold is king, kills are useless
-dont turretdive for kills, if you are ahead you can farm more and increase your lead
-find a good guide for items

thats it for now, but remember, you dont write anything because you wanna display your knowledge, i know you have a lot, but you write something to learn new people.
